I have a theory on where the issue might be stemming from so before on my IPad i was very able to change my visual settings but kept it on classic i go to change those settings and low and behold I can’t! Why? My device is a A12 device. This is unfortunately where I think the problem is stemming from. I saw a comment from somewhere that device A13 and below are no longer supporting sims FreePlay or any other app as well as previously

This has to be the worst most frustrating, embarrassing mind numbing update l've ever experienced. The IPad crashing is beyond insane and frustrating. They spent so much time trying to patch out the farms etc they didn't even care to see how this poorly this game is performing and it's the most laziest middle finger I've ever experienced if I didn't already spend so much damn money on the game I'd f*cking delete it!

Like and EA support is no help whatsoever the team doesn’t even seem to give af. Then tells us to play fair 😒
