Update to my : So much for a quiet night post
On the plus side: property management has been responsive since initial flooding! Flooring was installed today!
But dear lord! I am deaf and count on my hearing aids, it’s been IMPOSSIBLE to wear them with these industrial air purifiers and fans going. Not to mention the SOUND without my Ha in, when they have been demo what they need to.
Thank goodness we have a 2nd bathroom.
But am I wrong for feeling that the tenant above us who let their toilet keep overflowing and flood us(see original post) should at least leave a note apologizing?!?!?
Yes, we know them, my husband received a: “I can’t imagine the chaos , I was told we flooded you! Glad you’re daughter is not here “
Are you kidding me??? Thank god our kid with no immune system has been inpatient for 4 weeks and won’t be dc till next week! We would have to relocate (and I would have fought for that experience too come from their insurance not ours).
I’m just really annoyed, overtired, overwhelmed with the amount of work and the huge inconveniences it’s created.
I work from home!!!! No, I can’t leave and work from a different location due to extreme internet security standards.
Everything is EVERYWHERE!! Can’t use our main bathroom, I can’t get out my office door when they are working, laundry can’t happen… oh and the cat is locked in a room so she doesn’t climb into the damn open walls!!!!🤦♀️ All while handing our kid inpatient!
I just want to show them the pictures and be nice ‘ can you believe this?? How have you managed with all the noise they must be ripping your place apart to…. Then see what response I get.
