Due to some poor planning, I am having to stitch with one hand inside a bag with a small opening. I can't see into the bag while my hand is inside. So, I am having to blindly attempt to find the hole with the needle. I have been using a needle halfway through from the outside to locate the hole but it is slow going. But it got me thinking. An awl with a groove in it, inserted from the outside, might allow me to easily slide the needle along the groove and through the hole. Does something like this exist?
