I live in SE NC, and I just got hired as a substitute teacher. I have accepted a long-term position to finish out the rest of the school year for a 3rd grade math and science class. I have a four-year BFA, and my dream is to become an art teacher, but, for now, I am subbing to gain the classroom experience. I am very nervous as I have quite literally zero classroom experience beyond my observation hours (also, I was homeschooled, so that does not help matters). I'm anxious about going into a long-term position headfirst with so little experience, and with it being this late in the year and EOGs fast approaching. Do you guys have any tips on how to do well?
