Looking for some honest advice from Macan/Porsche owners here.

Looking for some honest advice from Macan/Porsche owners here.

I’m considering a 2021 Macan GTS CPO from Porsche Wichita. Asking price is around $56k, black on black, ~51.5k miles. CarFax is clean overall (2 owners, no accidents/damage), and Porsche just did a decent amount of CPO/service work in January including oil, brake fluid, spark plugs, filters, tire mount/balance, etc.

A few things I’m weighing:

- Mileage is a little higher than what I originally targeted. I was initially trying to stay in the 40–50k range because of the 40k/60k maintenance milestones on these cars.
- There’s a mileage inconsistency on the CarFax, but it appears to clearly be a clerical/reporting issue because the mileage timeline otherwise makes sense and Porsche still CPO’d the car.
- Car has apparently been sitting since January, which makes me think there may be some room on price.
- I’m located in San Francisco, so this would either be a remote purchase or I’d wait until July when I’ll actually be in Kansas City already for the World Cup and go inspect it in person.

A few questions for people who actually own these:

  1. Would 51k miles on a CPO Macan GTS scare you off?
  2. How meaningful is the Porsche CPO in terms of reducing risk on these?
  3. What major maintenance items should I verify have already been done around this mileage?
  4. If Porsche did plugs/brake fluid/etc during CPO, am I still walking into expensive 60k-mile maintenance soon?
  5. Would you buy this remotely if the deal got strong enough, or absolutely inspect first?
  6. Realistically, what would you try to negotiate this down to given the mileage/sitting time?

Appreciate any insight from people who’ve owned/driven these long term.
