While she’s only ever referred to as an “introvert” in the manga, I think it’s generally agreed that she has social anxiety. Something else that struck me though is how well she aligns with symptoms for Avoidant Personality Disorder. It’s generally characterized by low self esteem/feeling of inadequacy that causes social withdrawal for fear of rejection, save for anyone the person knows especially well, such as family. So, Bocchi.

I’m curious to see if we’ll ever see this or anxiety come up in the manga—it would be nice, since I think it’s important to spread awareness—but for now I wanna know if other people thought the same thing as me!
