My cheapass Yihua 926 started smoking a couple days ago and grabbed this for 15% off. On feel and looks alone it seems to be built well and the iron is very comfortable to hold. Wont have time to use it today but it went from 0-700 degrees in about 26 seconds. I do wish the screen was backlit though. Was tossed between this and a Hakko FX888DX but ive heard very mixed things and Weller seems to be pretty consistent. I have no one else to share my excitement with so I figured Id just post it here lol.
Grabbed some high voltage modules to build a taser. Cant wait to start now. I love new toys 🙃
