I'm debating just getting this IUD out and I'm looking for some comparisons or advice.
QUESTIONS: Does anyone else cramp nearly month round with this IUD? Is it more likely to get infections with it? What level of pain have y'all experienced? How often did y'all have cramps? What does a copper allergy feel like?
Context about me: I got the IUD inserted 8 months ago. Currently, there's only about 5 days a cycle when I'm not having stabbing cramps. Sometimes my cramps feel nearly normal on my period, but it just seems like they never stop. I've gone to the doctor multiple times because of the pain. The doctors say that the IUD is in the right spot and the ultra sounds look good. However, I did have an extreme UTI about a month ago (which I thought was the source of the cramping but it still has continued) . I also have no clue how long I had that since the abdominal pain has been pretty consistent for about 6 months.
