My 10 month old corgi barks at everything. Dogs especially. I do my best to take him out to socialize but can’t go out everyday… some days it’s just exercising in the backyard and going on a shorter walk down the street. We also don’t see other dogs every time we are out. I’m wanting to desensitize him to barking noises. If he hears a dog barking streets away he starts barking, same with hearing them on tv.

He is crate trained and I work away from home, I come home 3 hours into my work day to let him eat, potty and play, then go back to work for another 4 hours. (I don’t live far from work) I was thinking about putting “dog TV” on for him while I’m away for the first half of my shift.. perhaps a series of videos with dogs and other noises. He would have view of the tv as well so he can see where the sound is coming from. Do you think this might help desensitize him to barking noises if done in small increments?
