It's about 1/4 inch long. Felt it crawling on my hand around 40 minutes after hanging out with my new cat. She isn't showing any signs of flea infestation that I'm aware of and her shaved belly (recently spayed) doesn't show any bites. I honestly think it's just a random bug based on a cursory google of what fleas look like, but curious if anyone thinks otherwise.

Edit to add: Rough geographical location is AB, Canada, per the sub rules.
