Astra: Lost in Space
What a great show! This one had been on my watchlist for a while. I've recently eclipsed 300 animes watched and I wanted to start watching some popular animes that I've heard about for years but haven't watched (Clannad, Your Lie in April, Violet Evregarden are all up next in some order)
Anyways, I was fooled by the thumbnail and not really excited to watch Astra. Even after watching the first episode which is 47 minutes I kinda felt meh about it and was peeking at other series to start. By the middle if the second episode though something just clicked. The characters, the journey, the mystery, the comic relief. Everything just kinda fell into place and I really started to enjoy this show. It was great. Lots of fun, some really heartfelt moments without being cheesy and most importantly it had more twist than a pretzel. Astra is definitely one that will be in or close to my top 25. For anyone else, if your hesitant about checking this show out, watch it. Stick thru the first episode and you'll find one of the best stories and a great cast of characters.
