We're considering selling our home and have been meeting with agents to see how they’d go about listing our home to ensure we get the best price. It’s been a number of years since we last sold and it appears that standards may have dropped?
Last time we considered selling, the agents we met with offered the following for their commission:
-photos
-virtual tour
-laser measurements
-cleaning
-staging
-promoted our home on all their social media accounts and networked to get our listing noticed
What is considered standard now? What would be considered above and beyond?
We want the agent that is going to price our home right, so it sells quickly and gets us the best deal.
If you've sold recently and your agent pulled out all the stops, share the details below.
Edit to add: Would be curious to know the % commission for selling agent too.
