Switched from clubbing to sheesha… anyone else feel the same?

When I first came to Dubai, I was a party person..

But over time, things changed a bit.

Started spending more time with my Emirati friends, and the vibe was just… different. More laid back, more conversations, less noise. Slowly I drifted away from alcohol and got more into sheesha.

And honestly, I’ve been enjoying it way more.

There’s something about just sitting, talking random stuff, no pressure, no loud music… just a good, relaxed atmosphere.

Now I’m thinking - are there Sheesh communities.. it’d be nice to occasionally meet a few like-minded people over sheesha, nothing formal… just chill evenings.

Anyone else here into that vibe? If yes, let’s create a group of Sheesha lovers!

Is Ramayana losing connection with today’s kids? Trying something new, would love to hear any feedback !

I’ve been thinking about something for a while…

Most of us grew up hearing the Ramayana from our parents, grandparents, or through TV shows. But today’s kids, specially Gen Z / Alpha generation, they are growing up in a completely different world (YouTube, reels, short attention spans)

So I tried a small experiment.

I started a YouTube series where a 9 YO narrates the Ramayana in a fun, relatable, slightly modern storytelling way, without losing the respect and core values of the epic.

The goal is simple:

  • Help modern kids connect with Ramayana
  • Make them curious, not bored
  • Keep it engaging but still meaningful

But here’s where I need your help…

Would you let your kids watch something like this? What would you want us to improve or avoid?

I’m not here to promote blindly, I’m here to learn from people who truly understand and respect the epic.

If you’re open to it, I can share the link in comments.

looking forward to hearing your thoughts 🙏
