Social media completely changed what people think is natural
I remember when I first started lifting, seeing someone bench 225 or have visible abs was impressive. Now online it feels like every 19 year old is shredded year round with capped delts and insane size.
I think a lot of newer lifters genuinely don’t realise how much enhancement is involved with some of these physiques. Not saying hard work isn’t involved too, but expectations are definitely getting warped.
Kind of makes it harder for beginners to appreciate normal progress honestly.
