A Marketer on a UK Skilled Worker visa. Background in brand management and new market entry across Southeast Asia.
I’m from a visa-banned country for US, so US programs were out, and I can’t switch to a student visa from within the UK without losing my Skilled Worker status(also my country includes in UK students visa ban list as well). Weekend MBA was essentially my only option.
Got into Imperial with a 20% scholarship. Plan is to use it as a springboard into MBB or Tier 2 consulting or Big4 strategy arm in London.
So given my condition, Is Imperial’s Weekend MBA a legitimate path in, or am I setting myself up for disappointment?
Anyone who’s recruited out of a part-time program in London or seen these similar profiles on the consulting side, would love your honest take.
