I’m an early-career professional trying to break into ESG / sustainability full-time roles and would love some guidance or leads. Academic background in political science, complemented by a Master’s in International and Development Studies (Environment & Sustainability) from Geneva Graduate Institute.

I’ve done a few solid internships in corporate sustainability teams (ESG reporting, materiality assessments, emissions data, stakeholder work, etc.), so I do have hands-on exposure - but as most of you probably know, converting that into a full-time role is… not easy. I've also worked on projects with IO's like the UNEP and ITC.

I’m particularly interested in in-house corporate sustainability roles, but I’m also open to consulting or even think tanks.

If anyone here works in this space or has advice on:

  1. where to apply (I am actively applying on Linkedin)

  2. how to stand out

  3. or knows of openings

Everybody keeps telling me that it's all about referrals..Happy to share my CV over DM - and would greatly appreciate a referral if my profile fits any roles.

Thanks :)
