My mom is white, and thought she was German based on her biological dad’s last name. My dad was black, and knew past generations were from Tennessee, but that’s it. I knew there was some mix-ins since his side is very light skinned, but I didn’t expect to be less than 30% black! I was also surprised that I am mostly from England, coming from both my mom and dad’s side.
