Been reading and watching a lot of videos on MJ, and just thought I'd share my experience so far. It's been interesting reading how everyone is getting on...always something to take away and think about.

42 yrs old male and have been pretty fit and active most of my life, with no problem getting rid of weight if I took the junk food too far. But over the last couple of years, life happens as they say.

BMI shot up to 30 along with, err, the other complications that causes. Couldn't force myself to stop eating piles of crap everyday. Simple healthy eating wasn't working for me, and I kept breaking after 3-4 days. And I hate exercising while feeling sluggish from bad food. So MJ it was.

Took my first dose of 2.5mg on 28th April, and the effects were pretty much instant. Luckily, I've had no side effects. "Food noise" gone. No desire to eat to eat chocolates, fudge, whole packets of cereal, takeaways, 6 packs of Mr Kiplings, 5 slices of peanut butter on toast (with normal butter as a bottom layer 😞 and many other things I've always been desperate to shove down my throat.

I've had previous experience of OMAD, and right now I'm comfortbale eating a couple of bits of chicken, a packet of frozen vegatbles and half a packet of basmati rice as my only main meal. Either side, I'll just have a banana, some sort of melon/strawberry/grape mix and literally one frozen 90kal protein chocolate ice cream a day.

Works for me. Now finding it easier to workout everyday knowing my body isn't filled with sugar and 300g+ of simple carbs.

Find myself drinking a lot of water now, always between 4-5 litres a day. If I dont drink regularly, I feel like theres a large, dry hole in my chest, but feel great after drinking.

After seeing weight drop from the scales everyday for a week, I stopped weighing myself. Can just feel the changes on my body and face now. In my opinion, if you're eating well and exercising, obsessing over the scales is pointless and its better to just trust the process if you have a general understanding of your personal calories in/out.

MJ really is amazing. Anyone thinking about because they're struggling, I'd recommend giving it a try. For me personally, the cost is nearly offset by the savings from spending on takeaways and other crap in general.

Wishing you all the best on your journeys, I love seeing all the posts in this community.
