Even if this game has no more updates. I'm staying for the foreseeable future 🫡

This game means a lot to me. Originally I wanted to beat heolstor 100 times in a row without losing with randoms then I'd call it quits, but even after doing that and reaching 9999, resetting to d1 and now back at d4 (almost d5 again) Im still having so much fun and I can't see myself quitting for good any time soon. And this is coming from an Xbox player who has by far the smallest playerbase so much so where I recognize names I saw days prior.

Not sure how many of y'all feel the same, just thought I'd share. Now we hope for another roguelike

If you play duos and fill for a 3rd. PING AND PLAY AS A TEAM PLEASE.

Just ran a don (D4) game and got paired with a iron eye and a rev.

The whole entire time they didn't ping once and didn't drop me anything, the iron eye had a ROB with skill atk power up and wasn't even using it and kept it. And during the nightlord I went down at 1 bar and they never came to get me up (the boss was 50% dead) seriously these kinda games make me wanna rage quit. We did win but that's because they sucked ass and the ironeye went to 3 bars and the rev was forced to use her ult to win. I got up and we managed to do it.

So if you play with a friend and fill for a 3rd, that's fine. But please treat your random as a teammate

I hate you.

there is 0 reason for this boss to be a nightmare in don but not in normal expeditions.

i had so much dmg negation, was playing wylder who has a A scaling in hp. and i still got 1 shot in d4. long story short. im now in d3 again

Are normal expeditions dead and do you mainly play DON?

I recently started don and omg the queue times are so much faster. Now I know normal expeditions still have a playerbase to some extent but how many of y'all only play don?

What are your hottest nightreign takes?

My hottest take (maybe it isn't idk) is that BBH is not that hard. Sure he hits hard and isn't the most efficient way to spend your time but he isn't hard if you know what you are doing

I've been noticing that a lot less people are prioritizing night Invaders even in the later ranks of deep of night I usually keep the relic effect on but sometimes I want to switch it off because it does get boring after a while but are you guys noticing anything about it being less common?

Me personally i never really play solo or duos. always trios

i do wanna get into solos tho, but i think one of the main fun factors is finding teammates you click with instantly. yes you have your small dose of griefers and people who lack a frontal lobe like a recluse taking a crit tailsman when theres a executor or wylder in the same team.

Plus im just not very good at fighting (very good at routing tho) so i think solos would be a good way for me to practice boss fights on my own without aggro switching

I did most of it with wylder but I kinda want to reset to 0 and grind all the way back to 9999 with executor. Guard countering and deflecting is way more fun than I thought, I know it's not the most consistent in trios but it's still fun regardless.

It honestly wasn't that hard even in depth 4. Sure I did have a small losing streak where I did lose about 2500 points but managed to bounce back from it quickly.

I did think about getting to 9999 without losing or else I would reset but I think that might just be a tad to grindy for me, we'll see tho

this is a question i havent really seen and im interested to see what people have to say.

for me personally darkdrift knight aka fulghor took me the most amount of attempts on my first playthrough. his 1st phase wasnt that bad but omg that jelly arm had me stumped for a long time,

i think night aspect is a close 2nd. i felt helpless if i didnt get a holy weapon lol and it was such a rush beating him for the first time aswell

also i should note i preordered this game and played day 1, so i didnt have god rolls or anything or any ed relics that would have made it easier

u/Just_Cloud_8041 — 10 days ago

I hooked him up with a 60% dmg negation successive, +15% melee ROB early on.

All of his relics had improved crits and he ran the adel crit relic, and he had like 4 weapon passives with improved crits.

Honestly does not even feel real. it feels like just yesterday i was waking up to the new ED Fulghor boss and playing it non stop.

il prob make a more indepth post on how i feel about the game in its current state on its 1 year birthday.

but this was the first ever game i ever preordered and it was worth it.

i dont expect anything for its 1 year birthday, and if it is something it will probably be a thank you post or maybe a small small addition.

Maybe a hot take but In my opinion it's probably undertaker or executor.

Executor is a no brainer

But undertaker the amount of passive buffs she can get from relics is just crazy. I tried her out earlier today and stacking every buff I could get this includes the glass necklace and using her dex relic and her incant buff I was doing yellow damage to bosses in d5 trio scaling.

Now you could say halo slop duchess just solos...and you right (most times) but I'm talking consistently, because it does rely on rng even if you do have the dormant power. And besides it's boring as shit and doesn't work against every boss like fulghor who has a high holy resistance

I wanted to play duchess because I don't play her often, and the 2 other players on the character select screen already chose Thier nightfarers. And as soon as I hovered over duch, one of them quit out. And msg me "I am not playing with halo slop get better"

The thing was I wasn't even using double balancer, I was running a crystal build.

I really hate halo slop but quitting out because of it is something else.

Anyone else experienced this?

Atleast from my experience here's my list from most to least ego

Executor

Iron eye

Duchess

Wylder

Revenant

Undertaker

Raider

Recluse

Scholar

Guardian

Honestly depth 4 wasn't that bad. Not a single bad teammate or someone who quit out, well actually a person did quit out on a dreglord run but it was at the very end so his Internet likely cut out because he was contributing a lot and didn't die. And out of every game I only lost 2 games

But aside from that, no real issues. Man running tank wylder is so much fun, combine stat boosts with the red balance relic + ingame buffs and dmg negation. You are practically unkillable

What a way to reach depth 5 as well. I got heolstor on my final d4 run and I beat him hitless. Honestly so hype, shout-out to "Beatrice :3" and "didid" both of you were amazing.

9999?
