Met this girl through a mate for something serious (marriage kinda thing). We chatted a bit and met once for like 5–10 mins. She seemed nice and all, but she was proper unsure (literally said 50/50) and her situation’s a bit messy with finishing med school and maybe doing residency in another city.

I realised it didn’t feel stable so I ended it respectfully, and she basically said she felt the same.

Now it’s done and I feel oddly empty/sad, which is weird ‘cause I barely knew her. No real attachment, just a few convos and a quick meet.

Is this normal or am I overthinking it?
