will colleges care? especially top schools?
i had bad grades in high school. after that, i went through a lot of trouble like having mental health issues and other health problems. this caused me to have many withdrawals from the first 3 years. i did not attend the community college at all during this time. unfortunately, all of the courses from this time show on transcript with F,W, or EW.
i can make sure that they are not used in GPA calculation through academic renewal programs. however, they still remain on the transcript.
since then, i enrolled again last fall and have been exceptional at the school. nothing less than an A. i want to say that my final gpa will be 4.0 regardless. i want to show this massive improvement to the schools.
do you think this will matter? especially to top schools in top 30.
