I can think of a few good things to come out of tonight despite the loss. The Padres have been the hottest team in baseball coming into the series, to even have the chance to win it is really good considering an easier schedule coming up to pile up some wins. Kikuchi looked really good tonight and bounced back from some rough outings. The offense wasn’t going to keep on that pace for how many games it already had. The Angels still have yet to be shutout in the season. I think we can still take the game tomorrow and pile up wins with the Blue jays, Royals, and White Sox on the schedule.
