Is safe buy online?

I'm asking this because there are many things I can't buy in my country unless I do it online. Obviously, I have my precautions; I would do it in a specific browser for that purpose (or a dedicated profile), using a VPN, setting the destination location to somewhere different from my home, and using a dedicated Stripe account just for that. What do you think?

Vpn + tor

Well, I heard in a Linux subreddit that it's not a good idea to use a vpn with Tor, which seems strange to me, as theoretically they should enhance privacy. What do they say about this?

I have listened about mint, but

Here's the English translation:

Well, a few days ago I made a post in another community asking if Linux was a good idea for me. I got my answers, but I want second opinions:

To start, I'm not a programmer. I'm about to enter university and I'm more focused on economics. However, I'd like to have a Linux PC for privacy and curiosity reasons. That said, I also know that I'll probably have to use it for work if something goes wrong with the one I have, since I share it with my family. I think I'm getting sidetracked, so here's what I came for: I have my specifications listed for the specific distro based on what I'm going to use it for and what I'm looking for:

  • Privacy: I'm looking to use services like Startmail and others, using VPN and TOR 24/7 with private browsing. A distro that helps with that would be ideal. Not Whonix exactly, but you know what I mean—as close as possible to a virtual bunker. Obviously, my end goal is Qubes, but for now I'd need something simpler.

  • Tasks and work: In my country, the labor sector is so inefficient that there are people who barely know how to use Excel, and nobody has thought to use anything better. So I have to adapt. I know Office doesn't work on Linux, so I'll have to use LibreOffice and Proton. So I'd need the distro to support both as well as possible.

  • Ease of use: I can't solve anything without ChatGPT, and I can barely use the documentation. So I'm not interested in using Gentoo or Arch either. It doesn't have to be Mac-like, but ideally it shouldn't be much harder than Windows—at most using the command line for a few things.

  • Daily use: As I said, I'm not a programmer, and I need something to use every day. I'll still have my Windows PC anyway, you know.

  • Video editing: I'd preferably use Kdenlive for social media videos, though some alternatives wouldn't be bad.

  • Blogging: Yes, I want a blog. I don't know much about it, but if there's a distro that makes it easier, that would be good.

  • Basic programming: I know I said I'm not a programmer, but I'd like to learn a bit for scripts and such, you know, just in case it's useful.

  • Animation and 2D drawing and Blender

  • Game engine editors compatible

  • Gaming: Obviously with dual boot so it would be separate. If you're wondering, let it be compatible with Steam preferably, and if also with itch.io and GOG, even better. Those last two are a priority.

  • PC capacity: For my budget, what I can get is between 512GB-1TB of storage and 8GB of RAM.

That would be all for now, thanks.

Google doesn't work with duckduckgo VPN

Well, Google does not work for me with a VPN. Specifically, Gmail and the Play Store do not work. I had to disable the VPN for them to respond. What's going on?
