I just got the new DJ Playlist Beta feature and honestly, the idea is pretty cool.

The UI is in German, but the prompt field still says that requests have to be entered in English. That makes the feature feel a bit unfinished, especially because the suggested prompts are already localized, like “rhythmische Reggae-Songs zum Wachwerden”.

I like the concept of telling DJ X what kind of mood or vibe I want instead of just using normal playlists. It feels more personal than shuffle or radio.

Would be great if Spotify added full German prompt support and maybe more detailed options like:

“Play something chill but not boring”

“Give me 2000s indie vibes”

“Reggae songs for waking up”

“Songs like the one currently playing”

Anyone else testing DJ Playlist Beta already? How good are the recommendations for you so far?
