Gingivitis or Loose Tooth?

Hi! I'm a new cat mom. I've been researching everything about cats since I've only ever had dogs. Based on other posts, I think it might be my kitten teething. I'm wondering if anyone can help me see if this is gingivitis or loose tooth? Should I monitor before going to vet? I rather avoid multiple trips to the vet (my hours got cut at work recently), but if needed I will.

Context that might be helpful: My kitten (Emily) is about 6 months and a half-ish. Domestic SH. Indoor cat. In California. I didn't know brushing was supposed to be daily until recently (I was brushing like once a week before T_T). BUT I've been brushing nightly after she eats for the past week. I didn't notice yesterday but I was being extra careful to making sure I got the back teeth and I noticed it tonight. I've been using Virbac C.E.T. Enzymatic Poultry Cat Toothpaste. My kitten doesn't complain AT ALL when I brush her teeth (small flex, she doesn't complain when I clip her nails either, unlike her brother Binx 😒), she just licks the toothpaste 😅 So I haven't noticed any discomfort before. She also eats dry food in the mornings and a mix of dry with wet in the evenings. Both are Hill's Science Diet Kitten food. I haven't noticed her complaining or showing any discomfort. She's getting spayed in about 10 days. She and her brothers were orphaned kittens that my friend found. I dunno what other info might be helpful but I appreciate it if anyone has some advice/suggestions! thank youuu
