Hello,

I am a mid-20s guy who has been through chaos, and I just need a way out of it.

The chaos persisted for more than a decade, and since the start of this very decade, I have faced some mental illnesses. But I'd like to minimize the time to mid-2022 till now. During that time I stopped reading the word of god gradually.

For almost 4 years, I lost control of self, as I was under the impression that my college life was on a downward path, later that year I was right.

New year passed (3 years ago) and things got way worse, my mental illnesses progressed and my brain became even more foggy. Despite making a few core friends by the year's end, my mental health never seemed to improve. By christmas of that year life events improved.

Another new year passed and things were heading for the better, despite some drama I tried my utmost to flee and brought by a few, my life seemed to have been improving in general, despite my foggy brain persisting.

Then 1½ years ago, during the christmas season, things began to deteriorate towards my new low, my depression spiked, my self control that was improving prior to that fateful day, all went down to the drain and kept deteriorating, life changed faster than I changed clothes, made a few friends along the way, but prior to that lost some friends with no reason, some friends became dramatic and deceitful, and life lost its meaning. Despite attempts to restart reading the word of god. It failed miserably upon the passage of few months.

Fastforward till now, it's been a 1½ amongst the fires of hell, I no longer know how to handle change, I no longer have control of self, I am no longer able to think, no longer able to work or think of doing things that benefit me, no longer able to recall. Since the start of 2025 I barely recall the highlights or things I put my full forceful focus into, the first time ever I faced something like this. My mental illnesses either persisted as they were or deteriorated. I even started relying on AI. I just need to rekindle my relationship with god, its insane I could not bring myself to read it.

I overthink how to approach, how to open conversations or speak to people, I am just mentally drained. I cannot take this much longer, I am resisting like I have been for more than a decade. I just need to see the light.

I need advise to get out of this downward hellish spiral. I just need my focus back, my critical thinking back, my good memory back, my discipline back, my control of self fully back.

**Tldr:**

Mid-20s guy who’s been dealing with years of chaos and worsening mental health, especially since mid-2022. College life fell apart, brain fog and depression got worse, and despite occasional improvements and making some good friends, things crashed hard again about 1.5 years ago. Since then I’ve lost focus, memory, discipline, motivation, and control over myself, while constantly overthinking social interactions and feeling mentally drained. I barely remember much from 2025 so far and feel stuck in a downward spiral, just looking for advice on how to regain clarity, self-control, and a sense of direction again..

Imho: I think we have lost all what makes us unique from other parts of the world. We have become a society that is extremely:

• Degenerate & disrespectful
• Narcissistic & selfish, exploiting every crisis to make one's self-worth "better"
• Nihilistic
• Arrogant & prideful, despite our country sinking becoming hell.
• Fake & very good actors.

We can be in denial, that's fine.

If we are to talk about life in the west, why don't we start talking about the flaws in our country which in Gen Z is worse that any part of the world. They are getting back to community & socialization, why don't we follow through?

That was the very reason this community was launched to bring back what we've lost in this whole decade since the late 2010s.

I just noticed that we reached a milestone of 50 members, we are glad to have provided you with a safe haven of friending & community.

As I have stated before, all men are urged to read the decorum post before engaging in conversations with women, and I have to emphasize that it is in no way a dating server, any violation will lead to a suspension with a warning of 10-20 days based on the severity of the action and banned if there were a major breach or the warnings were shrugged off.
