We're currently residing in a subdivision (townhouse) in SJDM where our main problem for years now is water. Family is getting bigger and we now need more space so we're planning to buy farmlot that will also serve as residential. We saw lots that fit our budget in the areas of DRT and San Ildefonso Bulacan but we also discovered water is a main problem there at the moment. I work from home so there's no need to stay near Metro Manila but we prefer proximity to urban areas too (DRT is an hour away from SJDM), Lucban and Tayabas are near Lucena too. But what are the cons that we need to consider there?

Kids are 11, 6 and 1 year old. I also prefer biking on trails.
