All the Keyboards I've Designed and Built Over the Last 3.5 Years
I figured it was time for a new family portrait, so here we are. Over the last 3.5 years I’ve designed and built around 40 different keyboards and macropads. Honestly, I’ve lost count at this point lol.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Joe, the person behind ScottoKeebs, one of the largest collections of free-to-build handwired keyboard and macropad projects. I focus on education around mechanical keyboards, including firmware, PCB design, and of course handwiring. Pretty much every board here is handwired with no PCB, although a few of them are my own PCB designs.
It’s kinda crazy to think this is just 3.5 years of work, especially since it doesn’t even include the nearly 200 client projects I’ve done. I slowed down a bit recently, but I’m planning to ramp back up this year, so stay tuned.
Anyway, when I share my boards, I like to include a few things:
- I make videos on these boards and have a new one coming out soon!
- All the handwired boards I design are released completely for free.
- You can keep up to date on the project or support me at scottokeebs.com.
