Hi everyone, I'm Joe Gerard, a candidate for Congress in this May 5 Democratic Primary accepting absolutely zero donations.
Quick on me: 26 years old, engineer and healthcare researcher, OSU College of Medicine alumni, Short North homeowner, former EMT. I approach politics like an engineer - I look at our problems and see rational solutions we aren't implementing because our District's Rep is beholden to corporate money.
The primary is THIS TUESDAY, MAY 5. I'm running against a 13-year incumbent who's seen Columbus housing costs nearly double since taking office, all while wages have stayed flat. I don't think that's a coincidence and I don't think it's acceptable.
