Guys episode 1 Kyoya/Fang Leon is destroying masters Ryuga. Please read
Pls read
I’ve seen a lot of metal masters vs metal fury team battles this week and a lot of people seem to be giving the upper echelon of metal masters characters(Gingka, Ryuga, & Kyoya) the win. While it’s true these characters are strong they don’t compare to the top tier Legendary bladers.
Before I go into this I want to go over the starfragment as my entire argument pretty much hinges on that. The starfragment is what gives these bladers the edge hear when have see it twice in the series of how crazy just the raw awakening of the power is. We see it first with yuki a guy who is introduced and is probably a mid tier metal fusion blader(I think he could’ve made it battle bladers but reji smokes him) to by just awakening having enough raw power to actually push back metal fury ryuga. While yes you can say Ryuga was suppressed but he was in attack mode when he got pushed so he was giving a bit of effort nothing to crazy but the point still stands. Yuki went from mid metal fusion tier to arguably top 12 in the entire series just from awakening. It’s also important to note that yuki doesn’t actually train the only thing he does post this is gain confidence so essentially the yuki that faught Ryuga is the same yuki throughout metal fury with but less battle experience of course.
Then we have Chris. Who was strong already in base. If I were to rank him he would be about high metal masters tier as he beasts everyone but Stops at end of masters Damien. Chris goes from that level to literally arguably top 5 or top 4 if you include Kenta or not and not including Rago just by awakening. Masamune who has been training with king and is much stronger than he was in destroyer domb got absolutely destroyed by Chris like it was no contest, masamune literally got beat so bad he looked like a metal fusion ryuga victim. But yeah this is the power to the starfragment it takes bladers(talented or not) to new crazy heights. It’s truly the biggest power creep plot device in the show.
Now on to kyoya. Metal fury episode 1 kyoya before awakening is about equal to end of metal masters Gingka(btw based on spiral force feats and statements end of masters Gingka and ryuga are extremely relative with the side leading slightly towards Ryuga). So Kyoya at the beginning of fury is already competent to Ryuga and it would literally take an extreme diff effort from Ryuga to take him down and that’s pre awakening. Kyoya awakens and even if you want down play him at the very very worse it’s literally just metal masters the same Kyoya with the crazy raw power of the starfragment. That is enough power to demolish everyone in masters mid diff. Keep in mind also this is Kyoya before he gets seasoned with the power so he’s much weaker than he was against aguma. And aguma actually gave him a high diff fight despite kyoya being more seasoned with the power that on its own should show you that legendary bladers aren’t getting touched by masters characters especially the top tier fury ones. Anyways Kyoya with this crazy boost would win against metal masters Ryuga, truly believe even if mindset wise Ryuga is the better blader pure stats alone win this for Kyoya. It’s kind of like comparing captain ginyu to goten. While yes captain ginyu is the more experienced and season fighter Goten based of pure stats just mogs him. At the end of the mentally and experience can’t close a gap that is that big, it can only close a gap that is small.
We should also note that metal masters Ryuga Does NOT have the ability to steal power he can only steal spin strength which is just a glorified stamina boost Ldrago doesn’t actually get any stronger when he does. So the “ohh couldn’t Ryuga just absorb the power” argument does work here. Also that would out of character for masters Ryuga characterization he all about gain stats through grit work ethic.
TLDR: Starfragment busted so Kyoya beat Ryuga
Also u should say think you for reading this mini novel and I’m open to hearing other view points about this as well as my whole argument stems of the pure power of the starfragment so if you can debunk then you beat my entire stance.
