My maglev train proof of concept that can go both forwards and backwards. This uses ONLY magnets (and redstone links to activate the magnets). I couldn't figure out how to make it actually levitate without interfering with the horizontal movement, so I used ice as a medium due to its slippery property.

By using this setup of opposing redstone magnets, you can create a MASSIVE amount of acceleration. Potentially usable for maglev trains and, as showcased, a projectile.
