I feel like the biggest problem with The Boys is that the actual Boys didn't have any character growth since a long, long time. And not only that, there's actually no story with them to tell anymore. They wanna kill Homelander and it drags out for no reason other than the plot not allowing them to advance.

Almost all of the story lines around Homelander, Soldier Boy, the Seven, Vought etc are great storytelling in comparison with twists and turns and it always feels like something is at stake.

I'd rather watch episodes like this until the final one than have The Boys discuss for the 100000 times if they should kill all supes or only some without never actually doing anything.
