Hear me out, decoy spawn or double spawn

If not 2 engineer soawns, at least give us a decoy. The running is monotonous only to have it suddenly be hit by a mortar.

In real life, radio signals are falsified sometimes and you should only have 2 spots max, to do the heavy lifting for a poor team. I understand better balance would have to occur which isn’t the issue, I enjoy being over powered as it brings realism to an extent. A decoy spawn would be clutch.

1,500 dollar closet, anyone?

“Yeah, that’s really small. I guess we are just ‘New Yorkifying’ Portland, I guess,” Acadia Momm-White said.

I get we need affordable housing but this is only going to raise prices in general, or at best keep them the same with a smaller apartment!

Every Marina has a prospective customer list?

Some called them wait lists, while others said Maybe we have room….
Some said we’re completely moving away from monohull sailboats because the “they think the wind is free so everything else should be too” as in they don’t patronize the ship store enough?

Anyway, talking to an employee in a boat yard in Maine, not only are Marinas turning down decent quality older monohulls, not just junkers, but some places are starting to not even let you store your boat, and if a haul out occurs they want you immediately back in the water.
So options are to moor for the summer and do what in the winter? Anchor?
Dock space does come available in the winter but times are a changing and who knows how long that will last.
I’m devastated because I thought my sailboat would hold value as it should, but these new marina guidelines are gutting the value of really nice yachts too!
Another sad consequence to this is what will happen to the riggers and sailmakers? No sailboats means no new sails, another lost art? Someone give me some good news please!

Endeavor vs Morgan vs Gulfstar vs Irwin

As an owner of these rigs, can anyone explain common flaws you’ll notice?

I know endeavor has their tanks in the hull which require tearing up the sole to replace/maintain but who has the best build quality?

I’ve heard horror stories about Gulfstar, with a cored hull but someone tell me which is better. An endeavor 37 or a Morgan 41?

Endeavor vs Morgan vs Gulfstar

Flaws, perks…any seriously bad known issues and which one would you prefer?

For instance I know endeavors have their tanks in the bilge which often need replacing which requires taking the sole out pretty much. I know it all comes down to how well they been maintained, and I’ve heard horror stories about Gulfstar too. Morgan owners, what’s wrong with them?

Not going to mention much, but lithium is a known anti depressant that makes you docile.

Also, Maine has the most radon gas that attributes to lung cancer and we have a huge rate of lung cancer in non-smokers!

Anyway, is our unique geology a good thing or a bad thing and, please discuss.

Why do we have Angus King the third and Hannah Pingree running for office? And why Has Susan Collins and Angus King II been in office for over 3 decades it seems? I’m sure there are plenty of other examples, but it the days of big money political contributions to push through certain agendas, has Maine lost its representation? Even when we voted bi partisan against the corridor, it still passed? How is any of this acceptable and what can be done about it?

I’m going to look at a KP44. I can put the link in the comments. The guy is firm at 25k which is too cheap. He was honest. Started with cosmetic stuff to chain plates he’s working on and a soft spot on the rear deck. He said 3’, not sure if that’s 3’ X 3’ or 3’x 6”

He then said the engine starts but he uses starting fluid and it leaks oil slowly, but then said he only added 3/4 from Maryland to Maine which almost doesn’t seem like enough unless he never motored much.

I know they’re solid boats, I’m not afraid of doing some work and plan on spending winters in Maine at the dock and summers on the mooring with a bailout every couple years or when needed. He is pretty adamant that the bottom is totally fine and his plan is to splash it anyway.
I’m going to look at it, I won’t pay until a week after it splashed unless it’s a great deal, he does have many inquiries.

Anything in particular to look at on a KP44 would be most beneficial, known flaws in design and stuff like that.
