Live and draw, friends. For too many years have we simply accepted that the devs patched out crayons working on the world map. And why? Can our 2 int characters not scribble pink crayon drawings all over their personal copies of the world map if that is what keeps their hearts alive through their perilous journeys?

”You can use crayons on the world map again” would be a beautiful patch note. Hear my plea, Freehold Games. I have the utmost confidence this is what the community wants

Animal Crossing has emulated NES games. Street Fighter 6 has a variety of arcade cabinets with emulated Capcom games. How far can this concept be taken? Can anyone think of a game you can emulate inside of a game that’s being emulated in another game?

Ideally we can find some kind of horrible nested emulation situation that’s three or four layers deep that we can proclaim to be The Way It Was Meant To Be Played. Whatcha got?

This question gets asked ten times a day, nobody ever checks to see the other ten times it got asked, and instead of wishing they wouldn’t I propose we accept that this is human nature and pin a post with a breakdown of the pros/cons for each.

Or at the very least have a megathread or something.

Anyway just save up a little longer and buy a 2, that’s basically the answer to the question
