Salam alikoum, people of this subreddit.
I wanted to ask what is the origin of the word "Titiz" used to refer to beautiful girls in our country of Morocco and it has morphed lately to refer to beautiful girls or boys.
I can't help but notice it's very similar to titties, don't know if it's a coincidence, or if the the word Titiz actually comes from the word titties.
But i see old folk using it too, although they might not know it's origin or actual meaning : "if my post presumption is actually true".
Also i hear it being used in our sitcoms and movies, but they aren't above using anything to seem relatable and like they are presenting our reality.
