Hi guys, been having trouble with sram DB8 brakes for quite a while now, brand new, old literally all of them seem to have this issue, the photos above are from 2 different bikes, 1 brand new, 1 about a year old.

No matter what I do I cannot seem to get more space between the pads to align the brake, meaning they constantly rub and make noise, if they aren’t noisy they still seem to prematurely slow the wheel down - not ideal considering their on bikes that cost a few grand

So far I have tried:

reset the pistons (yes I followed the “piston massage” and “advance” procedure)

Clean the pistons

Re-bleed the brake

Bed the brake in again

Stretch the spring to give it more tension

Hell I even contacted sram and got a cookie cutter response telling me to refer to the service manual and of course a copy of that badboy too, which unfortunately didn’t help 😤

Does anyone else have this problem too?

Or better yet does anyone know a trick or a way to fix this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated
