Needle like pain

Hey, so does anyone get needle like pain on the side of the face? Sometimes it develops into a full blown migraine but at the moment it's just being annoying....

I've had it come and go before last year when I started amitryptiline but this week it's back with a vengeance..... I have a neuro appt booked for next monday but I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to have a triptan.. argh

I had to temporarily give up the job I loved because of migraine attacks. The job I'm doing at the moment - I hate BUT I get WFH days which help me manage it.

There was a potential job which I would love and had WFH so I applied. And I found out today that they're doing interviews today. And obviously I didn't get one.

I feel like it's the last straw. There's no point anymore. I work a full time job so I can spend money on medication and a neurologist. But I don't have a life. I basically spend my weekends trying to recuperate.... I haven't seen friends in months, I've gained so much weight and I am now prediabetic and have fatty liver. My life is a fraction of what it was before I got migraine. I don't know who I am anymore.

Argh.
