Hello everyone! I'm looking for a good book that has a lot of details about whichever historical period it involves. Alternatively, if it's entirely a fictional world, good worldbuilding that feels similar to reading a historically accurate book.

I really liked the level of detail in The Rise and Fall of DODO, and I'd like something similar. I would prefer something lighthearted rather than something gritty. If you have any suggestions that sound even vaguely similar to this, please let me know!
