this afternoon, I was on the bus listening to music and minding my own business then i suddenly heard a camera shutter sound.the bus was quite empty and everyone else was occupied then natural instinct turn towards the direction of the sound and noticed a woman beside me holding her phone in a way that made it seem like the camera was pointed directly at me. She also avoided eye contact, which made me more sus that she take a pic of me
didnt want to jump to conclusions or cause a scene coz was not completely certain.so I continued observing her and noticed her zooming into something on her phone and typing messages, which increased my suspicion. After some time, she suddenly became defensive and said things like “stare what stare.” I then asked if she had taken a photo of me, and she replied in a very defensive and mocking tone, saying, “You so pretty meh, why would I want to take a photo of you?”
I was like maybe i paranoid lah cuz i sick mah so i tried to convince myself that maybe i overthinking. However, shortly after, I overheard her making a phone call saying something along the lines of, “Did you see the photo? The girl keeps staring at me.” i hear alr im like confirm this aunty took pic of me lah so I move to another seat lor
I changed seats alr ah I see her still stare at me like death stare. so I ask why she kept staring then she was like “ OH MY EYES CANNOT SEE OTHER DIRECTION AH” and took ANOTHER pic of me.Before alighting from the bus, she also adjusted her grocery bags in a way that deliberately hit my leg😑
i was alr very tired+unwell then this happen make me sibei stress. I have a history of bullying and body image issues, and I JUST finish my MULTIPLE counselling sessions related to my mental health(mainly on body image) the comments she made and the possibility of my photo being shared online is rlly affecting me. I alw hv to worry my pic gonna be posted online or used to mock me. if she didnt stay ONE bus stop away (which is also the foodcourt+fairprice i freq go) i would have let it go but i scared what if i encounter her again who know what this xzb do
