Was deathly afraid of cocking something up, but here we are
Took the exam on the 4th of May and got results by 6:00pm the next day. So about 26hrs from when I finished my exams.
I'm a native english speaker, so I wasn't too worried about most of the sections bar the writing. Thanks to IELTS Advantage, I was able to use a clear structure that got me my desired score.
That said, I'm a little burnt that I got an 8.5 in speaking. I suspect the range of my vocabulary might have been the problem. Aka, I know advanced words, I simply dont use them enough in daily speech.
For native speakers, find a structure for your writing. Understand the exam structure and give them what they want. All the best to everyone still waiting.
