I want to get a replacement, but I can’t figure out if it’ll use my legal or preferred name, I don’t want to spend £10 to find out. Does anyone know?

Hi, I’m FTM, live in Scotland
I am going to make an appointment with my GP soon to get referred to a GIC and also ask if they would do shared care.
Who should I be asking??
I switched to a new practice, they told me who ‘my’ GP was, but said family doctors aren’t really a thing anymore and that I should just make appointments with any doctor at the practice.
But I assume if I’m asking about shared care, and it’s at the individual doctor’s discretion, then I should be asking to make an appointment with my specific GP?
If they don’t agree to it I assume I can ask different doctors at the practice?
I do not know how the healthcare system works, I hope this isn’t a stupid question everything is so confusing 😿
I (trans man) am looking into starting testosterone through a private provider soon. I am still weighing up which one to go with. I’m struggling to find info on exactly what they’ll prescribe me.
Do they all prescribe testosterone gel? Or do I need to ask them and use that to decide?
I would rather gel, but in the case it didn’t work/I can’t get it, do I have to self inject?? Will private providers inject it for me, or can I get/pay another service to do it?
Located in Scotland if that changes anything.
I would never be comfortable self injecting no matter if I was shown how to or anything.
