Recently I went to a call where the homeowner had a blockage in the toilet and plunged it so hard it blew the wax ring out. I removed the toilet to find a super hard, almost crystallized formation in the trap of the toilet and also in the drain. The only thing I can liken is to is piss crystals in a urinal. Both home owners have issues with kidney stones as well. Is this rocky formation a culmination of 20 years of minerals in their urine causing this obstruction? Had to hammer the pieces out of the porcelain and the 3 in. pvc. After removing the drain seemed to be restored to normal working order. Has anybody else experienced this?
