Genuine question. As far as I know, there's no negative reception regarding Mary Jane(Earth-18119) being the superhero Spinneret. On the other hand, all the reception I've seen over 616 Mary Jane being Jackpot/Venom has been mixed at best. Any particular reasons why Spinneret works while Jackpot/Venom does not? Heck, Spinneret even had her own >!Venom!< arc.
