Hey there DnD and dropout nerds,

I was thinking about the “new” season episode and I had a sort of epiphany about that episode. They have the GM/ storyteller hot seat as each player at the table gets a turn actually driving the story without limits.

This seems like an innovation in tabletop gaming, which is really fun and unique. I know that as a TTRPG player/character you get to tell the story in some way, but you don’t have as much power as the GM.

So did they accidentally or intentionally come up with a new way to lead a TTRPG? Or is this a concept others have used before?

What do you think about how they used this concept in this episode?
