30, female I had a rhino/alarplasty 12 days ago. I had my sutures removed on Day 10. I noticed yesterday that my left nostril is lifting from the base of my nose. Its not a complete detachment. if I dont move my mouth at all, it starts to stick together but relifts once I start talking. No bleeding, pus, or excessive drainage. I’m not too familiar with wound healing stages and just want to ease my anxiety about my nostril potentially never attaching to the base. I messaged my surgeon, who is based in Mexico and don’t expect a reply until Monday but my anxiety is making me spiral. Will the outer edge of the wound heal last? He did say I still have some dissolvable sutures left in.
