Hey everyone, looking for some advice.

My brother just got hired at United and mentioned I could potentially fly on buddy passes. I was originally building out a credit card setup focused on earning points for flights, but now I’m not sure if that’s still the best move.

For those familiar with this setup, does it still make sense to prioritize travel points, or should I shift strategy?

I still want a strong overall CC setup regardless. I’m open to annual fee cards, and lounge access would be nice but not a must.

Current cards: Chase Freedom Unlimited + Sapphire Preferred.
