My 3 year old is absolutely obsessed with dinosaurs and we made a bargain that he could earn money for new Jurassic Park toys if he donates toys he doesn’t play with and books he’s grown away from. I threw in some clothes that don’t fit him anymore and he got the new Mutadon set from the newest film. He’s fascinated with the made up dinos as much as the real ones.

I took him to a local trail by our house to celebrate some of his favorite toys with some photography.

Hoping to find a fantasy book/series that has a treasure hunting adventure vibe like the series’ from the photo for example. I like the idea that special objects or something of that nature have more mythical essence to them than the natural world would lead you to believe.

I recently discovered the ability to suggest book purchases at my local library. They had the first two books in The First Law Trilogy and only had audio available for the third, of which I’m not too keen on unless I’m listening at work or something.

I plan on getting around to the rest of the stories within the world Abercrombie created in the future. I’m just excited I can get closure sooner than later and without having to only purchase the last book. Can’t spend all my money on books, you have to be realistic.
