I’m wondering, if a 6 month mortgage offer for a new build property with Barclays expires, what do they want to issue another 6 months? Do they just do a credit check to make sure there’s been no new credit agreements? Or do they ask for bank statements and wage slips again?
Looking for some reassurance please! I’m selling my house and it’s still not registered with the land registry (moved in December 2024).
I expedited the process on January the 14th, paid my solicitors to do it! Yes it’s still not done. Apparently there are pending applications before mine and it’s ’first come first serve’ according to my solicitors.
Has anyone else had any experience of this please or can offer me some advice? I’m worried I’ll now lose my buyers and the house I’m buying. 😭
