My daughter plays baseball at our local little league and her team is in last place. She and 3 other boys are pretty much the heart of the team trying to rally their teammates up and working with them to improve. She is among the best on the team along with the 3 other boys and she’s super nervous for our single elimination playoffs. They are a good group of kids but have been losing all season (only won one game) due to a distracted coach who likes to berate them and tell them “they’re the worst kids in baseball.” All we want is for them to do well and their bats hot for this final run at the playoffs. A win would be so good for them, because they’re such great kids who really TRY. But if not a win, then at least some good hits to get them motivated.
