Has anyone experienced this? I used to work in retail and the manager had her favourites. I couldn't win her over no matter how hard I worked. One morning I put away two pallets of stock pretty quickly. It weighed a few hundred kilograms. The old man I was working with was surprised and said I did well. That was the only time anyone noticed my hard work.
